Enrolling at OHS

At Onehunga High School, all enrolments are made via a meeting with either a member of the Senior Leadership team or Dean.  This allows us to meet with you and discuss any specific queries or questions that you may have.   Each meeting takes about 20 minutes.  

You will need to bring to the enrolment meeting:

  • Completed Enrolment Form - Enrolment Form
  • Birth Certificate
  • The most recent school report
  • Passport (if not born in New Zealand)
  • In-Zone Enrolments - Proof of Address (recent power / rates account)

An Information Evening for Y9 students and parents in 2018 will be held at 4.30pm 27 July 2017.

1. In-Zone enrolments: An appointment for a 2017 enrolment is required, please telephone the school office (636 6006) for an appointment time.

Applications for 2018 will take place from Monday 31 July.  An appointment is required, please telephone the school office (636 6006) for an appointment time between 8:30am and 3:30pm.  

2. Out-of-Zone Enrolments:

Out-of-zone enrolments for 2017 have closed.  

Applications for 2018 must be made before 13 December 2017.  An appointment is required, please telephone the Principal's PA (636 6006 ext 8006) for an appointment time.

Adult Students

The school is pleased to receive enrolments from adults who wish to return to school to take subjects in Years 11, 12 and 13. Enquiries about courses are welcome.

International Students

International students are a vital part of Onehunga High School. Students from a wide range of countries are invited to make application through our International Student Department, email international@ohs.school.nz

Homestays

Onehunga High School is responsible for the welfare and accommodation requirements of all international students. We welcome local families as host parents and caregivers. Applications to host students can be made through our International Student Department, email international@ohs.school.nz
