We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to learn English in our ‘Pathway to English Proficiency’ course, designed to meet the needs of English language learners at all levels. We aim to provide a friendly and relaxed environment in which students can improve their level of English ability through their own hard work and determination. Students receive an NZQA-approved certificate upon the successful completion of their courses.

* Off-shore students are able to apply for a student visa through this programme.

FAQ's

1- What level of English should I enrol in?

You enrol in one mixed-level class. On your arrival, you will complete a placement test and once your level of proficiency is established, the teacher will plan a customised lesson based on your abilities and your needs.

2- How old should I be to enrol in English Language School?

We accept all students aged 16 and over.

3- What sorts of student support do I get?

We will make every endeavour to support you in all aspects; accommodation, language needs, tours and travels, doctors, finding friends, sports, learning about events, etc.  All you need to do is ask and we will assist.

4- How much does it cost to live and study in NZ?

5- How do I enrol?

6- When can I start?

You can start any time during the year. Our term times can be found here.

7- How many students are there per class?

The average is 10 students per class.

8- Do I need a student visa for this class?

It depends on which programme you apply for. You will need a student visa only if you apply for the full-time programme (20 hours per week) for the whole year. If you wish to study for a short time, you can study on a visitor visa for up to three months.

9- Can I work while I study at your school?

You may be able to work depending on the conditions of your student visa. You are not allowed to work with a visitor visa.
